Many of you shall have heard of Peter's accident and shall know he was away from work for at least six months last year. We are delighted Peter has made a 100% recovery and he is back at work full time and already has more private guided safaris booked than the year before last! Classic Luxury Camping in 2010/2011
Hoopoe's seasonal shared and private
tented camps shall be located in the Serengeti and Tarangire National Parks for 2010. The Tarangire & Serengeti camps shall be open from 1st July - 31st October and Serengeti Camp shall again open from the 20th December through to the 31st March 2011. Private Luxury Camping is availible on request.
Our Fleet of
Landrovers.
Hoopoe has one of the newest up-to-date
custom build vehicle fleet in East Africa. Whilst retaining
some Toyota Land-Cruisers, the majority if the fleet
is back to the sturdier Landrover, which wins hands
down on comfort and handles wet conditions the best
and is less inclined to get stuck in the mud.

Driver Guide Training Courses.
The annual course was held in May and a refresher will
be held in early December. Peter organises the course,
which includes classwork and field work. A guest lecturer
or two assist and draw from their extensive research
fields.
