Itinerary
Day 1
NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE (PORINI MARA)
Depart Wilson airport at 10.00 AM for the one hour flight to the Mara. You'll be met at the Siana airstrip by Porini Mara staff and transferred to camp. Settle into your tent and enjoy lunch prepared by the camp chef. Afternoon Game drive in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy followed by a sundowner at a scenic spot. Return to camp for a shower, dinner and overnight.. All game drives are in open-sided 4x4 safari vehicles.
Day 2
MASAI MARA
Awake to the natural sounds of the Mara's birdlife. After an early breakfast, go on a morning walk in the Conservancy escorted by Maasai warriors and a guide, returning to camp later in the morning. In the afternoon you will go on a game drive to explore more of the Conservancy on the lookout for elephants, buffalo, giraffe, plains game and the big cats, followed by a night game drive after dinner to search for nocturnal animals including the elusive leopards which are resident in Ol Kinyei.
Day 3
MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After breakfast leave camp and game drive over to Porini Lion Camp. Full day with game drives in the exclusive Olare Orok conservancy, away from the minibuses and tourist vehicles seen in the park, and with an excellent chance of sighting lions, cheetahs and leopards all of which are found in the conservancy., sundowners and night game drive. Overnight Porini Lion Camp. .
Day 4
MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE (PORINI LION CAMP)
Full day in the Mara Reserve with a picnic lunch. Overnight Porini Lion Camp.
Day 5
MASAI MARA - NAIROBI - MOMBASA (PINEWOOD VILLAGE BEACH RESORT)
Final early morning game drive or guided bush walk in the Olare Orok Conservancy followed by breakfast and then transfer to the Ol Kiombo airstrip to fly back on the 11 a.m. flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi, arriving at around 12.05 pm and connect on to flight to Ukunda. Met and transfer to Pinewood Village Beach Resort on half board in a deluxe room. Rest of day at Leisure..
Day 6
MOMBASA
Spend the day at leisure. Overnight at Pinewood Village, Galu beach, Mombasa.
Day 7
MOMBASA
Spend the day at leisure. Overnight at Pinewood Village, Galu beach, Mombasa
Day 8
MOMBASA - NAIROBI
After Breakfast, transfer to Ukunda for your flight back to Nairobi. Arrive at Wilson Airport and transfer to JKIA for international flight back home
Seasons:
Low Season is June. High Season is December - March
and July - October. The itinerary does not run in April,
May, and November.
