| Day 1
NAIROBI TO RIFT VALLEY (Loldia House)
Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport off your international flight. Transfer by road through the scenically beautiful Great Rift Valley down to Loldia House, nestling on the shores of Lake Naivasha. A two hour drive from Nairobi. Enjoy a delicious lunch on the lawn overlooking Mt Longonot. Afternoon at leisure on the farm, with the option of a late afternoon walk with Loldia’s resident naturalist or a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, witnessing the prolific variety of bird-life on the lake and the lake shore. Dinner and overnight at Loldia House.
Day 2
RIFT VALLEY (Loldia House)
Full day’s activities on Loldia Ranch. These include horse riding, guided bird and game walks, birdwatching and fishing trips on Lake Naivasha, visits to the local flower farm and a night game drive. Dinner in the traditional dinning room hosted by Peter and overnight Loldia House.
Day 3
RIFT VALLEY (Loldia House)
Early breakfast before departing to Lake Nakuru National Park. Morning game drive around Lake Nakuru, famous for its abundance of flamingos and large variety of water birds. Lake Nakuru is also one of Kenya’s Rhino Sanctuaries and large numbers of Rhinos are regularly seen, along with good sightings of Leopard. Lunch is served under the Acacia trees overlooking the lake. Returning to Loldia in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Loldia House.
Day 4
RIFT VALLEY – MASAI MARA (Governors’ IL Moran Camp)
A late breakfast served on the lawns of Loldia House, after breakfast there is plenty of time for either a horse ride on the ranch or a fascinating bird watching trip on the Lake. A sumptuous lunch will the be served. After lunch you will be transferred to the Loldia Airstrip for your direct flight to the Mara. Arriiving at the Giovernors’ airstrip at approximately 4:00pm, you will enjoy a short game drive en route to the camp.
Pre dinner drinks around the campfire, a four course candlelit dinner in the dining tent and overnight at Governors’ IL Moran Camp.
Day 5
MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE (Governors’ IL Moran Camp)
Early morning game drive at dawn, returning to the Camp for breakfast. A 10:30am game drive, returning to the camp for lunch. A 3:30pm game drive returning to camp before sundown. Dinner and overnight Governors’ IL Moran Camp
Day 6
MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE (Governors’ IL Moran Camp)
Depart the camp at 5.15am to the Balloon Safari site. A fabulous I hour Hot Air Balloon safari across the plains of the Masai Mara. On landing enjoy a champagne bush breakfast, freshly cooked before you eyes. In the middle of the Mara plains. Game drive back to camp. Spend the morning relaxing before lunch at the camp, afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight.
Kindly note that the balloon safari is an optional extra activity and the cost of the balloon safari is not included in the standard 5 night itinerary costing.
Day 7
MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE (Governors’ IL Moran Camp)
Early morning game drive at dawn, returning to the Camp for breakfast. A 10:30am game drive, returning to the camp for lunch. A 3:30pm game drive returning to camp before sundown. Dinner and overnight at Governors’ IL Moran Camp
Day 8
MASAI MARA – LAKE VICTORIA (Mfangano Island Camp)
Early morning transfer to Musiara Airstrip for private charter to Mfangano Airstrip (30 minute Flight). Arrive at Mfangano Airstrip and take a boat trip to Mfangano Island Camp (30 minute flight) in time for breakfast. Spend the day fishing on the Lake – with a chance to catch the giant Nile Perch, birdwatching, boat rides or trips to the local friendly villages. Lunch and dinner at the camp.
Day 9
LAKE VICTORIA (Mfangano Island Camp)
Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the camp and enjoy all the activities the lake provides or simply relax and sunbathe in the beautiful gardens on the Lake shore or by the stunning pool. Overnight Mfangano Island Camp.
Day 10
LAKE VICTORIA – MASAI MARA – NAIROBI
Breakfast and lunch at Mfangano Island Camp. After an early lunch transfer by boat to Mfangano Airstrip for return flight to the Mara. In time for the scheduled flight at 4:00pm for Nairobi. Arriving at Wilson Airport at 5.00pm.
Where you will be met and transferred to the very well known Carnivore restaurant for dinner (Dinner to be paid direct). After dinner transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your international flight home.
