DAY 1
NAIROBI
Meet & greet at JKIA international airport and transfer to Holiday Inn Mayfair, Nairobi (B&B) for overnight. A Supplement of $75 per person sharing to upgrade Hotel in Nairobi to Norfolk, Serena, Palacina Suites or similar.
DAY 2
NAIROBI - SELENKAY CONSERVATION AREA (PORINI CAMP)
09.00 am pick up from hotel and transfer South, to Selenkay Conservation Area (a 4 hour journey of 102 miles), arriving at Porini Camp before lunch. Following afternoon tea, you will be escorted on a walk by Masai warriors to a village to get an insight into their fascinating culture and way of life. Return to camp for a shower, dinner and overnight.
DAY 3
AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Awake to the noisy calls of the birds. After an early breakfast, we drive through the bush on our private track into Amboseli National Park, for a full morning of game viewing. Following a picnic lunch in the park, we return to Porini Camp later in the afternoon. In the evening you will go on a game drive in Selenkay Conservancy, stopping for a sundowner at a scenic viewpoint, followed by a night game drive to look for nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, serval cats, caracals, bat-eared foxes, African wild cats, and other species. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
DAYS 4
OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
After breakfast, an early start to Amboseli airstrip for the flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi and connect on flight to Nanyuki. You’ll be met at the airstrip by Porini Camp guides and transferred to Porini Rhino Camp located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, at the foothills of Mount Kenya. Lunch and afternoon tea in camp and then head off to look for rhino with your driver-guide in the camp’s 4x4 safari vehicle. Return to Porini Rhino Camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5
OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
Full day in Ol Pejeta conservancy with game drives on the lookout for the Big Five and a visit to the Chimpanzee sanctuary. Enjoy evening sundowners at Scenic viewpoints as you make your way back to camp. Dinner & overnight at Porini Rhino Camp..
DAY 6
MERU NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, fly with Private Charter to Meru, arriving at Rhino River Camp, an unusual, exclusive and luxury lodge located next to Meru National Park, Kenya, where the legend of Elsa the lioness began. After lunch, explore Meru with a game drive ending with sundowners before getting back to Camp Dinner & Overnight.
DAY 7
MERU NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast enjoy a guided bush walk in the pristine environment around the camp,
the paths are specially selected where you can see unusual birds, and other small creatures. Also optional visits to nearby farms, villages or simply strolling the countryside or continue with exciting game drives in Meru National park. And then end your day with sundowners with a view from the small crater “Kilimajero” which is a short distance from Camp.
DAYS 8
SAMBURU (LARSENS CAMP)
After breakfast, fly to Larsen’s camp, Samburu. The camp is bordered by the Uaso Nyiro River on one side and pristine nature all around the Camp. Breakfast,lunch or dinner may be served on the river bank under a canopy of fig trees,on the river front deck,by the camp fire,on the tree deck over looking a watering hole or in the untamed wilderness, weather permitting. Afternoon game drive and overnight Larsens.
DAY 9
SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
Enjoy a Champagne breakfast and game drives in Samburu Reserve on the lookout for the species unique to this area, like the Somali Ostrich, Grevy’s Zebra and Vulturine Guineafowl, among others. End the day with a sumptuous dinner on the tree deck over-looking a watering hole and overnight.
DAY 10
SAMBURU - MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After breakfast, fly to the Mara where you’ll be met at the airstrip by your safari guide from Porini Lion Camp in open-sided 4x4 safari vehicle to transfer to Porini Lion Camp in the adjacent Olare Orok Conservancy, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will go on a game drive in Olare Orok Conservancy, stopping for a sundowner at a scenic viewpoint, followed by a night game drive to look for nocturnal animals. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 11
MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Awake at dawn to the natural sounds of Masai Mara's birdlife. After an early breakfast you will have a full day "on safari" with a picnic lunch, on the look out for the Big Cats. Return to Porini Lion Camp in the late afternoon for a shower, dinner and overnight.
DAY 12
MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE - NAIROBI
Enjoy Breakfast, then take a morning walk with Maasai warriors followed by a game drive in the Conservancy. After lunch, transfer to airstrip for 15.45 flight to Nairobi. Meet at Wilson and transfer to JKIA for flight home.
